The Mountain Brook High School Baseball Program will honor the SEANstrong Foundation as well as the Stearns Family at its varsity baseball game vs. Homewood on Thursday, April 12 at 5:30 p.m.Mountain Brook residents are familiar with the story of Sean Fredella’s battle with childhood cancer, but now he and his family are working to help other families fighting the same battle. The Mountain Brook Elementary student and his family started the SEANstrong Foundation to benefit children diagnosed with cancer.
Sean and his family are not alone. The family of Coach Shane Stearns, one of Mountain Brook’s baseball coaches, is also fighting cancer.

Children's Hospital of Alabama will be present to raise funds and community awareness of childhood cancer. Royal blue bows and arm bands will be given to contributors.
A Bunch of Guys, the MBHS a cappella group, will be performing the National Anthem before the game. Those who make a donation are eligible to play Summit Trivia for a prize. Taziki’s will be served at 6 p.m. to Dugout Club members as a part of Fill the Hill Night.
