About the Book
“Scout’s Christmas Adventure,” is an easy-reader for children, grades 1-3. Based on the author’s first book, this new easy-reader continues the adventures of Scout, the hero ant, and his unlikely young friend, Billy, a little boy. The story includes a theme of kindness towards others, sharing and working together.Author Encourages Early Reading for Childhood Education“In this easy-reader, I want to encourage children to start reading at a young age, with a plot centered on the excitement they can uncover in their own back yards,” Mauldin said. “Reading at a young age is one of the most helpful tools in shaping educational skills used by children to learn. Whether reading with your children or giving them a book of their own and helping them with the words, reading opens the mind and is proven to enhance many characteristics of on-going education,” Mauldin said.
"Scout's Christmas Adventure" will be available in select local stores and is a new release on Amazon. Sales are also available through the author's website, www.jackmauldinbooks.com.
