Cahaba Village Parking extension
The City Council is considering the addition of 130 new parking spaces in Cahaba Village on the south side of the current lot.
There should be 130 new parking spots at Cahaba Village by year’s end. The new spaces will extend south from the current parking lots toward U.S. 280. West of Green Valley Road, 59 new spaces will be added, and 71 spaces will be added at Whole Foods.
Plans for the additional parking were approved in October by the City Council, and they are now under consideration by the Alabama Department of Transportation. Once approved by ALDOT, the project will be in the hands of Bayer Properties and Whole Foods.
