Crestline Pharmacy
Q: Please describe Crestline Pharmacy’s area of expertise.
A: Crestline Pharmacy offers exceptional customer service and free delivery to the city of Mountain Brook. We have been serving the community since 1950 and have become a unique combination here at Crestline Pharmacy. We are a local mom-and-pop style independent pharmacy featuring a gift boutique in the front of the store.
Q: What type of services and/or products do you offer?
A: Customer service is our number one priority. Our patients become a part of the Crestline family. When you trade with us, we know your name and we learn about you and your family, so it is our honor to care for you in every way we can.
We offer several convenient services, such as curbside pickup and free delivery. We provide medication consultation whenever it’s needed and can administer immunizations. Our gift shop features beautiful, unique gifts to meet a variety of occasions. We also offer free wrapping and will even deliver your beautifully wrapped gift right to your door.
Our goal at Crestline Pharmacy is to provide the utmost care to each of our patients in a timely manner, whether you’re sick or filling a routine prescription. We aim to do that while caring for you as family.
Q: What wants or problems does Crestline Pharmacy provide a solution to?
A: We fill prescriptions in a much different way than someone would experience at a chain store. Our goal is to have our customers in and out of the store with as little wait time as possible.
We provide medication consultations whenever it’s needed while acting as a liaison with doctors and insurance companies.
Q: How long have you been in business?
A: Crestline Pharmacy has been serving the community for 70 years.
Q: Matt Leach, who has been with Crestline Pharmacy for more than 15 years, recently took over Crestline Pharmacy. What is his background?
A: Matt Leach graduated from Homewood High School and received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and his doctorate of pharmacy.
Q: What is your benchmark for success?
A: We will have succeeded when our clients leave Crestline Pharmacy feeling taken care of, remembered and receiving exactly what they came for.
Q: How is Crestline Pharmacy adjusting its operations and/or services to comply with COVID-19 safety measures?
A: We began a rigid protocol to keep our staff and customers safe as soon as we realized the severity of the situation. All of our staff members wear masks at all times, as well as customers. Should anyone come in without one, we provide a disposable mask for them.
We have markers displayed for social distancing and, as always, we offer curbside pickup as well as free delivery for those who are immuno-compromized or don’t feel safe coming into the store.
Q: Autumn and cooler weather will be right around the corner. What seasonal advice or tips would you like to share with potential customers?
A: This time of year, specifically cold and flu season, we recommend frequent hand washing in addition to your yearly flu vaccine. Should anyone be diagnosed with the flu or cold-like symptoms, we recommend rest, clear fluids, over-the-counter vitamins and contacting your physician if symptoms persist.
Q: What do you most want potential customers to know about your pharmacy?
A: Our store feels unique because it is unique. From our warm, inviting gift shop and Southern hospitality, we want our customers to feel welcome. We treat our community like family because they are the reason that our business is, well, a business.
We would love for customers to visit, check out our unique gift store, and consider transferring their prescriptions to our pharmacy.
