In other Council news:
Also at the meeting, Jim Meads of Sain Associates updated the Council on a recent meeting with residents about the Phase 9 Sidewalk Project. Meads said overall the reaction from the 19 residents who attended was positive.
The project, now in early planning and design stages, will install sidewalks along the following routes:
- Crosshil1 Road, Woodvale Road, Oakdale Road and Oakdale Drive along the following routes:
- Brookwood Drive from Westbury Road to Crosshill Road
- Crosshill Road from Brookwood Drive to Spring Valley Road and Woodvale Drive from Spring Valley Road to Oakdale Drive
- Oakdale Road from Woodvale Road to Oakdale Drive and Oakdale Drive from Oakdale Road to Bethune Drive
Some residents requested putting the sidewalk on the opposite side of Crosshill from what was proposed.
Sain Associates plans to revise the plans taking into consideration the feedback from the meeting and bring it back to the Council. If there are significant changes, affected homeowners will be notified.
