Election Update
On Aug. 23, Mountain Brook voters will have the chance to elect their 2016-2020 city council members and mayor. Village Living will provide weekly recaps each week leading up to the election, so you can easily keep up with everything you need to know before you vote.
Here’s the latest:
- Election qualifying is now closed! Here’s a list of candidates.
Other important information:
- Voters must register by Aug. 8 and regular absentee ballots must be applied for by Aug. 18.
- A runoff election, should it be required, will be held Oct. 4. Elected officials will take office Nov. 7.
- Pick up a copy of Village Living's August issue to see profiles on all the candidates, plus information on where to vote and what to bring to the polls. The August paper should start arriving in mailboxes next week!
