Four instances of theft of property were reported to Mountain Brook police, according to the police department community update. The thefts have occurred over the last month.
- Unknown suspects reportedly stole mail from a residence on Clarendon Road between May 29 and June 2.
- A white male stole an item of clothing in the 2800 block of Cahaba Village Plaza on May 29.
- An unknown suspect stole currency in the 3400 block of South Brookwood Road between May 18 and May 26.
- An unknown suspect stole checks and money orders in the 2800 Block of Thornhill Road between May 2 and May 4.
