Four instances of theft of property were reported to Mountain Brook police in the last week, according to a Mountain Brook community update.
- Between May 20 and May 23, unknown suspects stole jewelry from a home in the 3600 block of Rockhill Road.
- On May 23, a theft occurred in the 600 block of Brookwood Village. An unknown white female stole clothing from a business in Brookwood Village. Another theft occurred in Brookwood Village on May 26. Lt. Jay Williams of Mountain Brook PD said more than likely, the same suspect committed both thefts.
- On May 24, a business in the 60 block of Church Street reported an unknown suspect or suspects stole money.
MBPD Detectives are still looking for information regarding the May 25 robbery at Another Broken Egg on Montevallo Road. Anyone with information can contact MBPD Detectives at 879-0486.
Between May 23 and May 24, an unknown suspect or suspects damaged a drain pipe at a residence in the 300 block of Mountain Park Drive.
Between May 16 and May 18, an unknown suspect or suspects unlawfully entered a car in the 300 block of Overbrook Road and stole a computer.
