On Jan. 16, detectives obtained arrest warrants on three individuals in relation to the Jan. 14 robbery on West Jackson Boulevard.
Those charged were: Cedric Maurice Bailey Jr., age 19 of Birmingham, for robbery, theft and fraudulent use a credit card; Antwone Lucious Weaver, age 19 of Birmingham, for robbery and theft; and Leondra Chauntae Hill, age 32 of Birmingham, for receiving stolen property.
Birmingham Police recovered the stolen silver Lexus in East Lake the afternoon of the incident.
Bailey and Weaver have also been charged by Hoover Police for a robbery and
attempted murder that occurred in Hoover a few hours before the West Jackson robbery. Arrests in all cases were the result of a joint investigation involving Hoover Police, Birmingham Police and Mountain Brook Police.
