Pumpkins, goblins and ghosts came out in force Oct. 31 for the annual Mystics of MountainBrook parade in Crestline Village. This Halloween marked the 12th anniversary of the spooky celebration.
Despite the threat for rain, thousands took part, dressed as everything from Darth Vader to whoopee cushions. Candy enthusiasts—young and old—reached out into Crestline’s streets eager for treats to fall from the dozens of participating floats. Families and friends tossed out an assortment of candy and beads.
Mountain Brook High School cheerleaders and Dorians, as well as the Birmingham Belles also participated in the event.
