Stars Fell on Alabama
Libby Sims (Emma Sansom), Kendall Crabtree (Miss Alabama), Ella Scott Crane (Patti Ruffner Jacobs), Hayden Hawkins (Tallulah Bankhead), Janie Lee Moncus (Fannie Flagg), Jackson Perkins (Bienville Le Moyne), Oliver Salter (Sam Dale) and John Fischer (Sanota).
Mountain Brook Elementary fourth-grade students recently presented “Stars Fell on Alabama” to family, friends and fellow students. Masters of ceremonies led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. For the next hour, the audience was treated to students dressing as Alabama characters and performing songs about Alabama.
Highlights included songs such as “Stars Fell on Alabama,” “Alabama State Song,” “Birmingham” and “My Home’s in Alabama.” MBE performs it annually.
