Mountain Brook Lacrosse will hold the first Mountain Brook Lacrosse Day on Sunday, Nov. 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Spartan Stadium at Mountain Brook High School.
This free event is designed to introduce new players, both boys and girls, to the sport. It will consist of an hour-long clinic run by head coaches Brian Doud and Hunter Faulconer to teach the basics of the game to new players.
Sticks and balls will be provided for new players.
Following the clinic, there will be an exhibition scrimmage conducted by the men's and women's varsity teams.
Returning players are highly encouraged to attend and bring a friend who might be interested in playing. Returning players should bring their own equipment. When an existing player brings a new player who signs to play this spring, both players get a $20 discount off registration.
