Mountain Brook Village restaurant Ollie Irene closing its doors tonight

Ollie Irene will serve its final dinner service in Mountain Brook Village tonight, Sept. 30.

The restaurant opened about five years ago and announced its closing via a Facebook post on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

“Ollie Irene will be open for its final days of business THIS week,” the post read. “We will be open for dinner Tuesday (tonight!), Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Our last dinner service will be this Friday, September 30th.”

The post also said there is a plan to re-open the restaurant in the future, just at a different location. There is no definitive location or timeline as of now, according to the post.

“Thank you to EVERYONE for embracing us and giving us the opportunity to build our life and family, and a community of staff, patrons, purveyors and friends,” the post read. “We hope you’ll come say good-bye, celebrate the success that this little spot in a strip mall has been, and eat and drink some of your favorite things this week.”

Ollie Irene is located at 2713 Culver Road and will open tonight at 4 p.m. A dinner menu is posted on the restaurant's Facebook page.
