Nashville-based jewelry line opening store

A new jewelry store is coming to Mountain Brook Village. Nashville-based Judith Bright will be located in between Marella and Oli.O at 2514 Montevallo Road.

The Judith Bright flagship store is located in the 12South neighborhood of Nashville, and it also has a location in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta as well as an online store. Founder Judith Bright said Birmingham was the ideal next step.

“We have so many loyal Birmingham customers shopping with us online that a store here just made sense,” states Judith. “Birmingham is a city on the move with an entrepreneurial spirit much like that of Nashville.”

Bright said she was attracted to the village’s unique blend of curated shops along with the friendly and intimate feel of the neighborhood.

Bright is best known for her nest-wrapping style, fun cocktail rings, lightweight earrings, hand-hammered necklaces and bracelets, and sandalwood collection. The jewelry is made with 14k gold-filled and sterling silver, mixed with myriad semi-precious gemstones in all sizes and colors. Her collections include pieces for women of every age and can be custom fitted for any size.

“Every piece of our jewelry is made in our Nashville store by hand,” Bright said. “We use the finest materials available, and we handpick each stone used in our designs. My passion is making quality jewelry available to women that they will love and enjoy wearing everyday. "

Her designs have been worn by Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lopez, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Christina Applegate and Carla Guigino. Pieces from the line have also been featured on TV shows Gossip Girl, Samantha Who? and The New Adventures of Old Christine.
