Arthur Price show now open

Alabama artist Arthur Price has generated a body of work to be unveiled exclusively at Gallery 1930 in English Village starting May 15.

Last spring at Gallery 1930, Price participated in a group drawing show with gallery 1930 resident artist Drew Galloway and visiting artist John Cleater. The show featured predominately black and white works done on paper, but this time around Arthur Price is returning to his spirited and dynamic palette.

"We recently caught a glimpse of some of Art's latest work, and it was obvious what we had to do — host a solo show celebrating his personal, unique, and celebrated style,” said Laura Vogtle, owner of Gallery 1930. “We know what people love to see from Arthur Price, and they will not be disappointed in the least!"

The works will be unveiled at the gallery May 15 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. All are welcome.
