Church Street owner to hold book signing

Carrie Rollwagen, author of The Localist, will host a book signing at Ex Voto in Mountain Brook Village on Tuesday, March 10 from 5-7 p.m.

Mountain Brook is just one stop on Rollwagen's book tour, which will stretch along the entirety of Amtrak's Crescent Line from New Orleans to New York.

The Localist follows Rollwagen's year long journey of only buying from Alabama-owned stores and opening Church Street Coffee and Books in Crestline, which she co-owns. 

She will also host a Localist-themed birthday party at Carrigan's Public House on March 11. The Localist is available at Church Street, as well as online retailers, for $20, or from ebook distributors for $3.99.
