Bob Goff speaking engagement cancelled

Author and humanitarian Bob Goff, who was scheduled to speak at Canterbury United Methodist Church on Wednesday, April 1, will no longer be coming to Birmingham due to an emergency eye surgery.

Goff is the author of Love Does and founder of Restore International. Love Does, a New York Times bestseller, was published in 2012. Restore International was started in 2003 and works to promote human rights and education and end human trafficking in Uganda, Indian, Somalia, Iraq and Nepal. Goff, an attorney, also serves as serves as the Hon. Consul for the Republic of Uganda to the United States.
