City of Mountain Brook seeking poll workers for election

The City of Mountain Brook will be holding an election Aug. 23, 2016. A run-off, if necessary, will be held Oct. 4.  

As of July 12, there is one contested council place. The qualification period ends on July 19, 2016 at 5 p.m.

Like all elections, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Poll workers will receive training prior to election day and will be compensated for the training class and their service on election day.  Any registered voters who reside in the City of Mountain Brook who desire to assist with the election by working a poll should contact the City Clerk at 802-3825.​
