Road construction to begin this week on Overbrook Road

Construction is set to begin this week to create a longer right turn lane on Overbrook Road at its intersection with Montevallo Road.

Public Works Director Ronnie Vaughn said traffic delays should be “minimal” for now, though they may increase in the final paving of the road, set to occur in approximately in two to three weeks. 

Dunn Construction Company, Inc. will carry out the road paving project.
