Country Club Road is scheduled to be paved beginning Monday, Sept. 21.

The project spans from Memory Triangle to where Fairway Drive ends in English Village. It should take seven to 10 days to complete, according to Public Works Director Ronnie Vaughn.

Contractor Dunn Construction will use a pilot truck for traffic control. One lane of the road should remain open, but short delays should be expected.

The city had several other roads paved this summer, but the Country Club Road portion of the project was delayed due to water and sewer work. Roads that were paved this summer were: Montevallo Road, Mountain Park Drive, Anteitam Drive, Montrose Road/Old Leeds Road and Cahaba Road.
