Crestline Family Night to honor Sid Ortis

Crestline Village merchants are planning a special event in honor of Sid Ortis on Thursday evening, April 23. Crestline Family Night One will raise funds for childhood cancer research in his honor as merchants throughout the village will donate a percentage of their sales for the night to the cause.

During the event, which being held in partnership with Children's of Alabama, merchants will extend their hours until 7 p.m., and bands will plan in the parking lot in front of The Pants Store starting at 4 p.m. An after party at Otey’s Tavern begins at 9 p.m.

The Pants Store will also be holding a silent auction until 9 p.m., Crestline Bagel will have "Geaux Sid” cookies, the Emmet O’Neal Library will be giving out cotton candy for kids, Hassig Chirorpactic will be passing out water bottles, Iberai Bank will be passing out Popsicles and drinks, Mountain Brook Sporting Goods will be selling “Geaux Sid” bracelets, Oak Street Garden Shop will be selling Geaux Sid bows, Sugar will have sidewalk art for kids, The Lamb’s Ear will have face painting, and Town & Country will be giving away purple and yellow balloons.

Crestline merchants organized a similar event last year.
