Crime Report: Aug. 30-Sept. 5, 2013

Burglary / Residential (Attempted):

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Beechwood Road on Aug. 29. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry open a door at the rear of the residence. There was no entry into the residence.

Burglary / Business:

A burglary of a business occurred in the 2700 block of Cahaba Road on Aug. 31. Unknown suspect(s) broke the glass out of the front door and entered the business. Prescription medications were stolen.

Burglary / Residential:

A residential burglary occurred in the 4300 block of Wilderness Road on Aug. 31. Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole electronics and jewelry. There was no forced entry.

Case Investigation Update:

On July 16, a residential burglary was reported in the 20 block of Ridge Drive. A similar burglary was reported on Sept. 17 in the 200 block of Annandale Crescent. A suspect has been identified in both of these cases.
