Election qualifying now closed, final list of candidates

Elections for the mayor of Mountain Brook and Mountain Brook City Council are Aug. 23.

Qualifying for candidates ended on Tuesday, July 19. A total of four candidates qualified to run for Mountain Brook City Council, and one qualified to run for mayor. A complete list of candidates is below, and incumbents are marked with an (I).

• Tripp Watson
• Vincent Schilleci III

Place 4:

• Virginia Smith (I)
