The Junior League of Birmingham’s holiday shopping event, Market Noel, is celebrating 25 years in Birmingham. This year, Market Noel will return to the Cahaba Grand Conference Center Nov. 19-21.

The event will feature more than 100 vendors from locations all across the country.

Lifelong Mountain Brook residents Martha Ann Livingston and Jane Emanuelsen will return to Market Noel this year with their game day pajamas for children.

Livingston and Emanuelsen, stepsisters, started their organic cotton pajama line, marthie & jane, after they had trouble finding cute Auburn and Alabama pajamas for their kids to wear when they stayed up for late-night games.

“As a small business owner, it is exciting for us to return to Market Noel this year,” said Livingston. “It is one of our favorite shows each year.”

The festivities will begin Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. with the Preview Noel party. Attendees can look forward to hors d’oeuvres, specialty wine, beer and cocktails, swag bags for the first 500 customers, a silent auction, live music from Sean Heninger, and a chance to win a piece of jewelry valued at $4,000-5,000 from Diamonds Direct with the purchase of a glass of champagne.  Men are invited to enjoy the Man Cave with a beer and bourbon tasting from Good People Brewing and Dram as well as entertainment from The Lochamy Brothers of the SEC Network.

General admission shopping will be held November 19-21 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 am to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Highlights of the week include a Girls’ Night Out with a beauty bar from Tonya Jones Salon and chance to win a treatment package from Dr. Jason Jack of Plastic Surgery Specialists at Market Bliss on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.  A fashion show, ‘Rock the Runway - Couture for a Cause’ will be hosted by Lilly Pulitzer and will take place on Saturday from 9:30 to 11 am. Tickets for the fashion show include mimosas and a coffee bar from Royal Cup as well as brunch bites from Heidi’s Heavenly Cookies, The Fresh Market and Sister Schubert.

All proceeds from Market Noel will be used to support the 34 community projects of the JLB.
