Meeting to gather input about parks and recreation

Residents can share their ideas about the future of Mountain Brook parks and recreation facilities at a public meeting on Tuesday, June 30. The meeting will run from 6-8 p.m. at City Hall, 56 Church Street.

Lose & Associates, a firm out of Nashville, will be developing a Comprehensive Master Plan to guide the long term development of the city's recreation facilities in the coming months, and this meeting will allow residents to provide input at the firm begins work in the plan.

The meeting will also include a brief presentation parks and recreation departments around the country and their sports fields, recreation centers, playgrounds, aquatic facilities and greenways.
