Montevallo Road paving resumes Tuesday

Paving work will resume on Tuesday, July 7. Crews took a break over the long weekend but will continue paving Montevallo Road starting Tuesday morning. The paving will run from Overbrook Road to Mountain Brook Village.

When Montevallo Road is complete, the only street remaining on the city's paving list will be Country Club Road Fairway. Work on it has been delayed due to water and sewer work, according to Public Works Director Ronnie Vaughn.

“Hopefully we can continue in three to five weeks depending on the completion of the excavation work in the street,” Vaughn said.

Paving on Mountain Park Drive, Country Club Road, Anteitam Drive, Montrose Road/Old Leeds Road and Cahaba Road paving completed in June.
