Mountain Brook Elementary slate roof pieces for sale

You can now own your own piece of Mountain Brook slate.

Mountain Brook Elementary, the oldest school in the system, is selling repurposed, slate roof tiles from its original roof, which was replaced last year.

The roof tiles have been cut into shapes and can be used for a number of purposes. Shapes offered are heart, cross or diamond. Each costs $25.

There is a limited number of pieces available, and they are selling quickly.
