Overbrook Road at Montevallo to be closed this week

The milling and paving phase of the turn lane project on Overbrook Road at Montevallo Road will begin Thursday, July 7 at 8:30 a.m., Public Works Director Ronnie Vaughn said in an email. The site work will continue with paving of the area on Friday, July at 8:30 a.m.

Overbrook Road at Montevallo will be closed to through traffic during most of the working day on both Thursday and Friday.

Construction work on the project began in late June. The project will create a longer right turn lane on Overbrook Road at its intersection with Montevallo Road.

Dunn Construction Company, Inc. is carrying out the road paving project.
