Police report three residential burglaries

Mountain Brook Police Department reported three residential burglaries in the department’s community update email.

One burglary occurred on June 15, and the others occurred the next day.

On June 15, a burglary occurred in the 3400 block of Overton Road. An unknown suspect or suspects stole two TVs.

Another burglary occurred June 16 in the 10 block of West Montcrest Drive. The suspect or suspect forced entry into the residence, and it is unknown if anything was stolen. The same day, another burglary occurred in the 3900 block of Montevallo Road. An unknown suspect or suspects entered the residence and stole jewelry.

The community update also included a report of a car break-in. Between June 15-16, an unknown suspect entered an unlocked car in the 100 block of Crestwood Drive and stole a GPS.
