Police report two thefts, car break-in

Mountain Brook police reported two thefts and a car break-in in this week’s community update.

Between Oct. 4 and Oct. 5, unknown suspects broke the window out of a car in the 100 block of Euclid Avenue. Money was taken from the car.

One theft was reported from the 3300 block of Overbrook Road. In early September, unknown suspects stole a check and cashed it.

Jewelry was reported stolen from a residence in the 3600 block of Springhill Road. The theft occurred between Oct. 4 and Oct. 6.
