Shades Valley Rotary honors local teachers

Each year the Rotary Club of Shades Valley (RCSV) honors outstanding teachers in the community with its annual Teacher Appreciation Awards. 

On April 8 RCSV honored four local teachers for their dedication to area students.  The teachers honored were Christine Morman from Homewood High School, Joey Plaia from John Carroll Catholic High School, Nidia Fernandez-Lee from Shades Valley High School, and Pete Giangrosso from Mountain Brook High School.
