Simmons to speak on modern hookup culture

Author Richard E. Simmons III will speak on his latest book, Sex at First Sight: Understanding the Modern Hookup Culture, on Tuesday, April 7. The program will run from 10-11 a.m. at the Emmet O'Neal Library

Simmons will explain the hookup culture, how it came about, how it is affecting our younger generation and what he sees as God's intent for human sexuality. The book is written for those in college, those soon to enter college and their parents.

Simmons is the author of The True Measure of a Man and A Life of Excellence. He is also the founder and executive director for The Center for Executive Leadership, which he opened in 2000 to assist men in the development of their faith through formal bible studies, teaching and counseling.
