Suspect arrested for English Village car break-ins

Mountain Brook police arrested a suspect in connection to car break-ins on English Village Lane on July 21.

A witness called MBPD to report she saw a suspect inside her car and saw him enter other cars along the road. Police responded and stopped Michael Dewayne Feggins, 38, as he was walking on English Village Lane. The property that was taken from cars was in Feggins' possession, according to police.

Feggins was arrested and warrants for unlawful breaking entering vehicles and third degree theft were taken out by MBPD. Bond was set at $5,600. Feggins told police he is homeless and has no address.
