Suspect breaks glass door in residential burglary

Mountain Brook police reported a residential burglary, car break-in and an instance of criminal mischief in this week’s community update.

The residential burglary occurred on Sept. 30 in the 3500 block of Cherokee Road. When the resident returned home around 5 p.m., they saw a glass door pane was broken. An unknown suspect or suspects stole jewelry, televisions and a computer from the residence.

An unlocked vehicle was entered in the 3200 block of Pine Ridge Road between Sept. 28 and Sept. 29. Money, electronics and credit cards were taken from the car.

A vehicle was damaged in the 10 block of Montevallo Terrace between Sept. 29 and Sept. 30.
