One or two other individuals got away, according to the update.

Police also responded to a report of an attempted burglary on Oct. 3. The reporting party said an individual was trying to get into a home on Brook Hollow Drive. When officers arrived, they went into the house and found a juvenile inside. He had prescription medicine belonging to the homeowner as well as property which cane from two unlocked cars in the area, according to the report. Police reported this incident as a burglary and car break-in.

Two black men were caught on video surveillance “checking for unlocked cars,” according to the update. They got into two unlocked cars and took a wallet from one and an iPhone and Bluetooth speaker from the other, according to police.

Between Oct. 1 and 2, prescription pills and a charging cord were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Between Sept. 19 and 22, check and other papers were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Two thefts were reported in the update, including jewelry that was taken from a locked closet and a vehicle tag that was stolen from a car in the victim’s driveway.
