Ten-family garage sale

A ten-family garage sale was held in Mountain Brook resident Tina Tynes' driveway on June 30. The sale started at 8 a.m., and shoppers began to line up on the street at 6:30 a.m. The extremely warm weather did not deter shoppers from coming out and keeping the sale busy. The families' children helped out during the sale by selling bottled water and by telling shoppers about the toys they had put in the sale. The same ran until 2 p.m. and was a huge success.
