Thank a teacher, support schools this Valentine’s

Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation is bringing back its “We Love Our Teachers” campaign for the second year. 

Parents and students can thank their teachers by donating to the Foundation in their honor. Each time a teacher is honored, he or she will receive a note from the Foundation letting him or her know. 

Boxes will be placed in each school for donations starting Monday, Feb. 3. Participants should list the teacher’s name and the name of the person/family making the gift on the check. Families can also mail their donations to the Foundation at PO Box 530834, Mountain Brook, AL 35253 or donate online on the Foundation's giving page.

Last year the campaign raised more than $8,000, and organizers hope to surpass that number this year.

The Mountain Brook City Schools Foundation, an independent non-profit corporation, secures resources from individuals, corporations and foundations to support technological advances and professional development for the staff of the school system.
