The Mountain Brook City Council will discuss drainage in the Overbrook Road area at its July 27 meeting.

Schoel Engineering has developed a proposal to study the area under Pine Crest Road and

through Canterbury United Methodist Church's property. The drainage basin contributing to this location includes Mountain Brook Junior High and encompasses about 400 acres.

Also at the agenda for the meeting is a liquor license for the Grand Bohemian Hotel, an encroachment at 12 Norman Drive, and stop signs to be placed at the Brookwood Road-Crosshill Road intersection.

The formal council meeting begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall in Crestline Village, and the premeeting starts at 6 p.m. Coverage from the meeting will be posted here on villagelivingonline.com at its conclusion.
