Two thefts, one car break-in reported

Two thefts and one car break-in were reported since the last community update from Mountain Brook Police Department.

The car break-in occurred Sept. 1 in the 10 block of Woodhill Road. Suspects entered a car and stole credit cards, and police believe the theft occurred between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

Golf clubs were reported stolen from a residence in the 2800 block of Overton Road. The theft occurred between Aug. 15 and Aug. 20.

There was also a theft at a business in the 200 block of Country Club Park. A cell phone was reportedly stolen, and a suspect has been identified. Charges are pending.
