Western Supermarket robbed over holiday weekend

Mountain Brook Police are searching for an early morning thief who hit the Western Supermarket in Mountain Brook Village on Sunday, July 5. Security camera footage showed the robbery happened around 6:10 a.m.

The footage shows the robber approaching an employee at the counter, but the suspect is wearing a hat and obscured his or her face with a cloth. The police have not noted any identifying features of the suspect.
