Next door to the nearly complete Crestline Piggly Wiggly, the Mountain Brook Art Association will be showing off the work of local artists this month.

Art in the Village, the association’s 35th annual spring art festival, will bring in the neighborhood of 5,000 visitors to Crestline Village on Saturday, April 16.

The show will feature the work of around 85 of the association’s members, as well as a tent to display the work of Mountain Brook Junior High School art students.

In addition to the opportunity to purchase local works of art, The Choko Aiken Band will treat guests to a soft-jazz performance. Neil’s Goodies Ice Cream will also be onsite, along with the Homewood and Mountain Brook representatives for the Birmingham Belles.

The show will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and guests are encouraged to access the show via Vine Street. For more information, visit mountainbrookartassociation.com.
