Birmingham Botanical Gardens hosting Pokémon-inspired 'Catch 'Em All' event

Birmingham Botanical Gardens has caught the red-hot Pokémon fever. On Friday, July 15, BBG will host a “Catch ‘Em All at The Gardens” event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Attendees are invited to visit The Gardens and stock up on items at more than 29 “Pokestops,” Battle at the area’s four gyms and catch its rare Pokémon.

According to the event’s Facebook description, members of the team that is holding the most gyms at 1 p.m. Friday will be able to purchase student memberships to The Gardens for just $10 and YP memberships to The Gardens for just $20.

Attendees are asked to tag all their photos on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram @bbgardens. The top four photos chosen by staff at The Gardens will be given a free membership.

Admission to The Gardens is free, and The Gardens is open 365 days a year from dawn until dusk.
