Birmingham Zoo extends Half-Price Summer Fun Days

The Birmingham Zoo invites the community to experience Half-Price Summer Fun Days on the weekends of July 23-24, July 30-31 and Aug. 6-7. Visitors can take advantage of discounted half-price admission, half-price rides, discounted merchandise in the gift shop, and $1 hot dogs in the zoo’s cafes. In addition, guests can enjoy Dino Discovery for the discounted summer price of $3 every day before it goes extinct this Labor Day.

Throughout Zoo Fun Days, visitors will have the opportunity to get up-close with the elephants in Trails of Africa, experience Predator Zone and enjoy a Red Diamond Sea Lion Splash Show. Guests are invited to come and learn how the zoo uses enrichment activities to help keep the animals mentally and physically fit. Guests can also see live animal demonstrations, feedings, chat with the keepers and more.

During Half-Price Summer Fun Days, the zoo will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. for extended summer hours.

Zoo Fun Day admission is half-price admission, $8 for adults, $5.50 for Children 2-12, and $7 for Senior Citizens and Military (plus tax). This discounted admission offer cannot be combined with any other offers.
