Lipsitz-Hyer

Julie Rachel Lipsitz and Court Ralph Hyer married June 16, 2012.  Rabbi Jonathan Miller officiated, the ceremony and Marilyn Pipkin provided the musical violin accompaniment.

Both the wedding and the reception were held at The Sonnet House in Leeds, Alabama. The sister of the bride, Mindy Lipsitz, was the maid of honor, and the brother of the groom, Chase Hyer, served as the best man.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Michael Lipsitz of Mountain Brook. She is a graduate of  Mountain Brook High School and the University of Florida, where she received her degree in building design and construction.  She is currently working as a senior project engineer in Oregon.

The groom is the son of Katherine Myers Hyer and the late Ralph James Hyer of Tampa, Fal. He is currently studying actuarial science at Oregon State University.

The couple resides in Bend, Oregon.
