Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church holding homecoming event

Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church is celebrating pledge Sunday with a “Saint Luke’s Homecoming” dinner.

The potluck will take place on Sunday, Oct. 25. Saint Luke’s invites all current and past members to join the parish for a meal following church.

“This ‘Homecoming’ is our way to say thank you to all those who have supported, built and said their prayers here,” said assistant to the rector Johnailla Wright. “Saint Luke’s would not be where we are without so many who have given their time and treasure to our Village Church.”

The church will provide fried chicken for the meal, and attendees are asked to bring a side dish. The event starts at noon, following church.
