On November 22 Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church welcomes Alabama native, Travis Crim, as the keynote entertainer for its Iron Bowl Tailgate event for all junior high and high school students in the area.

Crim, a former University of Alabama football player, currently lives with his family in Southern California working as a writer, actor and producer.  His love of the arts, and his passion for seeing teens transformed by the life of Christ, has defined his work. Crim combines Biblical truths with relevance of today’s youth to capture the student culture of their generation. He pulls from years of hands-on ministry experience to connect spiritual insight with real-world application in a creative, often humorous way.

Crim first discovered his talents while at the University of Alabama as he worked with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Campus Crusade. Today, Crim performs his comedy sketches and serves as a motivational speaker extensively for Outback of America, JH Ranch and other ministries throughout the country.

Saint Luke’s Youth Minister, Bryan Miller said: “We are beyond excited that we are able to bring such an amazing performer to speak to the youth in our community. We are looking forward to hearing his message about how faith can help today’s youth face life’s challenges and struggles.”

All area 7th -12th grade students are encouraged to attend this free event on Sunday, November 22 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Saint Luke’s Church. Wear your team colors for a great Iron Bowl Tailgate!
