Drum Corp International performance expected to bring heavy traffic

A performance by Drum Corp International will likely cause heavy traffic next Thursday, according to Mountain Brook police.

Drum Corp International will perform at Mountain Brook High School on July 28 at 7 p.m., and almost 2,200 tickets have been sold at this time. Police alert there will likely be heavy traffic around the high school starting around 5 p.m. and continuing until 11 p.m.

Traffic and parking will be similar to a large football game, and the show will end around 10 p.m.

There will also be no access to the interstate or Gymnastics’ Center through the high school due to equipment trucks and bus parking, according to police.
