English Village events planned for April 21

English Village will come alive Thursday night, with an assortment of auctions, shopping opportunities and an outdoor jazz performance.

Tonya Jones SalonSpa will host its annual Earth Month Party and Silent Auction from 5-8 p.m. The event will benefit Cahaba River Society and has a fundraising goal of $18,000. Last year, according to the event’s information page, the event raised $16,000 for the society.

Guests are invited to browse the auction items, including a 10-day trip to Peru, and enjoy complimentary food and beverages from International Wines and Cahaba Brewing Company.

Earth Month Party ickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Tonya Jones SalonSpa Cahaba Village and English Village salons.

Right outside the SalonSpa, Jazz with Civitas will also take place.

Attendees can “sip and stroll” through English Village as they enjoy complimentary beverages and specials throughout the Village at merchants including Monkees, Jordan Alexander, and Vino, to name a few. Gallery 1930 will also be hosting an art show. A jazz band will play out on the street.
