Boo at the Zoo is returning to the Birmingham Zoo this month for 16 nights of rides, fun and games. From Oct. 8-9, 14-16 and 21-31, Birmingham Zoo guests are invited to wear their favorite family-friendly costumes.

Each night of Boo at the Zoo from 5-9 p.m., guests can watch as the zoo transforms into a destination of spooky attractions, themed rides and games.

New this year, visitors can buy one ticket that will cover admission and unlimited rides all night. In addition, guests can visit the all-new Bug-A-BOO, larger than life animatronic bugs. Guests can control the light of the firefly, see a 12-foot tall moth, 14-foot long beetle and more at the new attraction in the Trails of Africa play area.

Other attractions include the Spider Slide, Scarousel, Eerie Express and Ghost Rollers, all of which need an unlimited ride ticket.

The Zoo will also host trick-or-treating throughout the night.

Animal exhibits will be closed during Boo at the Zoo, and the zoo will close at 4 p.m. prior to the event. The unlimited rides and admission tickets cost $15 for members and $18 for non-members. Admission only tickets are $8 for members and $10 for non-members.For more information, please visit birminghamzoo.com.
