MBHS student to perform in Tennessee Williams play

Mountain Brook High School student Nicole Lee Roberts will perform in the Terrific New Theatre's production of "Farewell To Summer" from Oct. 16 to Nov. 8. 

The 15-year-old actress will play the character of Lena in a one-act called "Hello from Bertha" by Tennessee Williams.

Nicole has also appeared in several production with Red Mountain Theatre Company. Last spring, she attended the Music Theatre International Junior Theatre Festival and won an award for Outstanding Actress. 

Performances of "Farewell to Summer" will run on Oct. 16-Nov. 8 on Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 a.m. There will be one Sunday matinee on Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m. 

The Terrific New Theatre is located at 2821 2nd Ave. South. Tickets for the show are $25 each. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash or checks only.
